The floorboards are unashamedly simple and old fashioned in approach. A central tongue and groove to allow choice of top faces. No stress grooves on the back permits use of our boards for shelving, joinery work, partition screens ect . The oak is from managed and replanted Europeen hardwood forests which makes the flooring an environmental choice.
All boards are 21mm thick Widths always in stock are 280mm (11inch), 230mm (9inch), 180mm (7inch) They can be bought as individual widths or as random widths. Lengths vary with an average length of around 2M60. The oak is air dried before being kiln dried to between 8 to 12% moisture content. The flooring is sold without a prefinish. This allows clients to distress, stain wax, varnish, oil or seal with whatever they choose to suit their taste and property.
